The day was beautiful on May 9th, a special weekend not only for Amy's nuptials, but it was also Mother's Day weekend. The location was perfect at the Peninsula Yacht Club on Lake Norman. As the clouds darkened Amy became nervous about the rain. Thirty minutes before Amy took the magic walk to become Mrs. Chris Kastner, the clouds grew darker and the rain poured, the wind blew...well the flowers, linens, and chairs had to be re-assembled.
The clouds parted at 5:30, with the sun beaming as Amy Bernish walked down the isle to become Mrs. Chris Kastner.
The flowers were beautifully adorned with hydrangeas, roses, calla lilies accented with green hypericum berries and green trachelium. Mom said "the flowers look just like my daughter Amy, great job, just what she wanted! Thank you Deborah, job well done!"
